Cathcart Rail Announces Agreement to Provide Running Repairs for Portland & Western Railroad
Columbus, OH – January 29, 2025 — In December, Cathcart Rail became the running repair agent for car inspection and mechanical services across Portland & Western Railroad’s (PNWR) 478-mile footprint.
With a team of 13 carmen and site and regional managers, Cathcart Rail handles car inspections and repair of FRA and AAR defects at all of PNWR’s major Oregon yards, including Albany, Eugene, Salem, McMinnville and St. Helens.
