“We are honored to receive such a prestigious award” said Casey Cathcart, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Cathcart Rail. “This award reflects the dedication and effort our employees put forth leading up to and through the acquisition and integration.”
The award recognizes companies and service providers involved in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions during 2021 and the first half of 2022. Primary considerations included interesting or unique aspects of the transaction, the impact of the transaction on Ohio, and the impact of the transaction on the industry, and deals were evaluated on the complexity, challenges, and benefits of the transaction, as well as any unique attributes. Organizations and individuals in middle-market businesses with $10 million to $1 billion of revenue and headquartered or doing business in Central Ohio were eligible for nomination.
